- I bought this because my young male cat had 2 urinary blocks at the beginning of this year. It was traumatic for both of us, mostly him! But, this food has made a big difference in his quality of life since those incidents. He seems to enjoy the taste of it too – he begs me for it daily! He eats it when he does not have his wet cat food available, usually at night. Even though the price is high for this product, it does work the way it says it does on the side of the bag. It has given me peace of mind during a stressful time for my pet cat that I love, so it is worth the price to me. It is recommended to only feed your cat 1/4 of a cup of this dry food up to 2 times per day (I feed mine morning/night as needed). I would recommend this product for anyone that has a cat with urinary block issues or re-occurring UTI’s. Re-occurring UTI’s is what initially brought my cat into the vet clinic – with this food, my cat was able to overcome those and hydrates more often.
