These seem to be strong legs for raising your furniture. They are made to screw into threaded holes, and they screw into each other. Because each leg measures 3 inches when screwed in all the way, by screwing four together you can get 12 inches of height; two will give you 6 inches, etc…To me, the term adjustable implies that the height can be adjusted, whereas these are made to raise or lower three inches at a time. If you attempt to use them to “adjust” the height slightly by not screwing them together all the way, then I feel you are compromising their strength and sturdiness. Still, if your floor is uneven and one or two legs need to be just slightly higher, then a few twists to slightly loosen and thereby extend the length of one or two of the legs will probably not be a problem, because there are six legs you can use to provide solid support.The legs appear to be made of hard heavy duty plastic, with a threaded bolt sticking out of the middle. The sections thread together quite tight and create solid support legs.
