This quilt is adorable! Before purchasing I read other reviews and questions and like usual they were mixed results. After finishing this blanket I decided to provide feedback and answer some questions. First off, this is a stamped pattern. I worked on it for months when I had time. The pattern never rubbed off. Second, because it’s stamped it’s perfect for a beginner. I’ve done counted cross stitch as well so I know what I’m saying is true! I tried to hide my stitches but found it too challenging. But that’s okay. I added a backing to it which hides everything. There is plenty of thread and if you mess up, go to a craft store and buy more for $.25. The reviews were mixed about how to wash the blanket afterwards and whether or not the colors will bleed onto the blanket. I used the hand wash cycle setting although delicates should work just fine and in cold water. No issues at all! In the end, if you want to make a keepsake baby blanket this is it! I can’t wait to give it to my granddaughter for Christmas! By the way, I’ve never used a sewing machine before but I think I did pretty good.
