4.0 out of 5 stars Healthy for our fur babies We have two ferrets, both female and over one year of age. They are both a bit finicky, and I want them to eat only the most healthy food – so we don’t always see eye to eye on what they should be eating. I did a lot of research, and the ZuPreem Premium Ferret Diet is high in protein and is widely attributed to be the most healthy option. Our ferrets did prefer a more colorful food (which is why I gave the product 4/5 stars instead of 5/5) so they did try not to eat the food at first. But after they both tried it, they took to it quickly. Now they run to the food bowl every time we fill it. I have noticed an improvement in both of their coats, especially our sable. They have also put on a little weight, which is good because our sable was a bit on the small side. This is now our go-to ferret food, and I don’t foresee changing that anytime in the near future. I do wish I could find it sold locally, but with Amazon Prime and a little planning it really isn’t a big deal. 3 people found this helpful
