- There are literally hundreds of different brands of punch needles. So I watched a lot of YouTube videos to see what others are using. I like the way that the Lavor Needle Set fits within my hand; it’s easy to thread and while lightweight, makes very durable stitches. Since I’m new at punch needle embroidery, I will, as many of my fellow crafters, experiment with all sorts of punch needles. But at this writing, so far, I’ve been using Lavor Needle Set and am quite pleased with it.
